We're seeking a Transportation Process Improvement Specialist to drive efficiency, reduce operational waste, and enhance performance across our transportation and logistics operations. In this key role, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives using data-driven methodologies to streamline processes, implement best practices, and improve safety and service levels.
This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate closely with Operations, IT, and Safety teams, leveraging business intelligence tools and Lean principles to deliver measurable improvements.6

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, lead, and execute process improvement projects within transportation and logistics operations.
- Analyze data from Transportation and Safety Management Systems to uncover performance gaps and develop actionable solutions.
- Create dashboards, scorecards, and reports using BI tools to monitor KPIs and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Safety) on technology implementation and process redesign initiatives.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support strategic initiatives through data analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and performance tracking.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (preferred: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proven background in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or operations excellence.
- Strong analytical skills; experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and/or Safety Management Systems preferred.
