Lead Operations Trainer

As the Operations Lead Trainer, you will provide oversight and guidance to the Operations Training Team to ensure the continued development and effectiveness of training programs, processes, and performance. You will serve as a hands-on leader who helps maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and productivity across warehouse and packing operations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Flexibility required to support training across multiple shifts and days


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set an example consistent with Four Seasons Family of Companies core values
  • Lead and assist Operations Trainers in effectively preparing new associates to reach productivity standards necessary for their role
  • Respond promptly to operations training requests, including equipment certification, retraining and other requests.
  • Champion workplace safety, food safety, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work a flexible schedule as needed to conduct or supervise training across multiple shifts.
  • Collaborate with Operations Excellence Manager to plan training schedules that provide training support for Operations & Facilities, to ensure new hires and temporary associates are onboarded effectively.
  • Identify training gaps and offer suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of training programs, including improving training efficiency and maximizing results.
  • Assist in the onboarding, development, and coaching of Operations Trainers.
  • Conduct interviews to support the recruitment of new associates.
  • Assist the Operations Team by working directly in Operations when needed to ensure business continuity and support.


What you need

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum 5 years operations experience including 2 years' experience operating material handling equipment
  • Minimum 2 years training experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and train others
  • Strong computer knowledge and ability to work with training systems and spreadsheets.
  • Strong knowledge of work and food safety standards
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and make sound decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
