Lead Accounts Receivable for Four Seasons Produce, a high-volume, fast-paced fresh produce distributor. What you get to do
- Oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable, including payment application, account reconciliation, collections, and credit management
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and make sound credit decisions aligned with company policy
- Manage aged receivables, resolve payment issues, and minimize bad debt exposure
- Negotiate payment arrangements and, when necessary, pursue remedies under PACA
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions within our JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system
- Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Receivable team through training, feedback, and daily support
- Prepare reports, analyze key metrics, and recommend improvements to leadership
- Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities
What you bring
- 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in a high-volume environment
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong expertise in collections, credit, and customer account management
- Working knowledge of PACA (Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; JD Edwards (JDE) experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
