We're seeking a Transportation Project Analyst to drive efficiency, reduce operational waste, and enhance performance across our transportation and logistics operations. In this key role, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives using data-driven methodologies to streamline processes, implement best practices, and improve safety and service levels.
This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate closely with Operations, IT, and Safety teams, leveraging business intelligence tools and Lean principles to deliver measurable improvements.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You Get To Do
- Analyze transportation, safety, and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using BI tools to track key safety, driver, and operational metrics.
- Support process improvement initiatives across transportation and logistics operations using data-driven insights and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Safety teams to support technology implementation, system optimization, and process enhancements.
- Support the implementation and optimization of transportation, telematics, and safety management systems, including evaluation of new fleet technologies.
- Monitor driver performance and operational metrics to help improve safety, engagement, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Assist with strategic initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma, operations excellence, or analytics-driven projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Safety Management Systems, or similar operational tools is a plus.
